Does Claviq upload my key photos anywhere?

No. Photos, feature prints, and metadata stay on your iPhone. If iCloud sync is enabled in Settings > Apple ID > iCloud, they sync only through your own private CloudKit database — not through any server we control.

How does the AI matching work?

When you photograph a key, Apple Vision computes a visual signature (feature print) on-device. When you snap a mystery key, Claviq compares its feature print to every key in your library using cosine similarity and shows the top 3 matches ranked by confidence.

What does Claviq Pro include?
How do I cancel my subscription?

Open the iOS Settings app → tap your Apple ID at the top → Subscriptions → Claviq Pro → Cancel Subscription. You keep access until the end of the current billing period.

Can I restore purchases on a new device?

Yes. Open Claviq → Settings tab → Restore purchases. As long as you are signed into the same Apple ID that bought the subscription, it will reactivate.

What if a match is wrong?

Match confidence is shown by the length of the gold bar. The top result is marked with a star. If it is wrong, try retaking the photo with better lighting and a plain background — Vision signatures are sensitive to glare, hands in frame, and busy backgrounds.

Does Claviq work without internet?

Yes, every core feature (capture, identify, inventory, Face ID lock) works fully offline. The only parts that need a connection are iCloud sync and the contact/newsletter forms on this site.

Do you collect any data at all?

No tracking, no analytics SDKs, no third-party services in the app. App Store privacy labels show "Data Not Collected" across all 14 categories. Our contact form emails us your message directly — that is the only data we process, and only when you explicitly submit it.
